Description
Our French Seascape Tray will whisk you away to a rugged coast, where waves crash against a rocky shoreline while sailboats float gently by on the horizon. We worked with our friend, the renowned designer and decoupage artist John Derian, to create this decoupaged dish from a vintage painting that we brought home from our travels throughout Europe. Derian and his skilled team of artisans expertly reproduced this unique find under luminous hand-blown glass in his NYC studio, creating a beautiful decoupaged dish that captures every brushstroke, color and perfect imperfect of the original artwork. Right at home hanging on the wall amongst other vintage works (or fellow pieces from our JH x JD collection!), this tray would also make a lovely addition to an ocean-inspired tabletop vignette, where it can stand alone or act as a catchall for all manner of items.
