How striking is our Grande Dame Portrait Tray? We based this JH exclusive on a one-of-a-kind vintage painting that we discovered on our travels through Europe. Its subject’s arresting stare instantly caught our attention and we quickly realized that parting with this piece would not be easy — so, once back stateside, we worked with the renowned designer, decoupage artist and friend-of-JH John Derian to transform it into a keepsake we could treasure forever. Derian and his skilled team of artisans expertly reproduced this unique find under luminous hand-blown glass in his NYC studio, creating a beautiful decoupaged dish that captures every brushstroke and perfect imperfection of the original artwork. Right at home hanging on the wall amongst other vintage works — or fellow pieces from our JH x JD Collection — our Grande Dame Portrait Tray would also make an enchanting addition to a tabletop vignette, where it can stand alone or act as a catchall for all manner of odds and ends.
