Drift Vessel, Courtney Duncan

Hand built, rich brown local clay, interior mottled satin glaze. Duncan plays with our ideas of ancient vessels, deconstructing and animating the forms that deeply ingrained in our cultural narratives.
Courtney Duncan lives and works in Los Angeles. A California native, Duncan graduated from RISD with a degree in sculpture. Duncan's delicate ceramic works recall unearthed ancient vessels.
