Join us in the Plain English Kitchen for a Saturday morning pie making workshop with beloved local restauranteur and friend of NK, Roxana Jullapat. Many will know Roxana from her Los Angeles based, seasonally-driven restaurant and bakery, Friends and Family, as well as her cookbook "Mother Grains" — a favorite among many here at NK.
In this workshop, participants will work with Roxana to make a vintage strawberry pie to take home and bake. Also featured and available for sale will be beautiful, hand painted pie dishes from Ojai based artisan, Rebekah Miles and stoneware pie baking dishes from Farmhouse Pottery.
*Fee includes instruction, materials, printed recipe, pie tin and signed copy of "Mother Grains" by Roxana Jullapat.
