Variation in glaze is expected and celebrates the authentic nature of studio pottery. Victoria Morris has been making pottery for more than 20 years. She is inspired in part by mid-century Scandinavian forms and traditional Japanese craftsmanship, and the varied environments of her native city of Los Angeles. Victoria's work is a study in simplicity and clean design. Without eliminating the qualities that reveal 'the hand' in handmade ceramics, she embraces the subtle, random imperfections inherent to traditional pottery.
