How pretty is our Astier de Villatte Octave Teapot? Inspired by 19th-century pottery designs, this delicate piece comes to us from Astier’s Paris workshop, where it was crafted following slow-paced traditional methods that make each one a little unique. The process starts with black terracotta clay, sourced from the Paris Basin, which skilled artisans press into handcarved plaster mold to create its elegant silhouette. From there, it’s coated in the brand’s signature milky white glaze, which lets hints of that natural clay color shine through, adding to its perfectly imperfect feel. With its simple, faceted shape and graceful, curving spout and handle, Octave makes a stunning addition to any tabletop.
