Organic beauty meets home organization with our Diego Baskets. These natural beauties come to us from Peru, where each one was handwoven by local artisans using dried totora reeds — a subspecies of sedge native to the coastal wetlands and high plateaus of Lake Titicaca that has been used for centuries to craft everything from household items to rafts and fishing vessels. Sure to make themselves useful in any room of the house, our Diego Baskets are great for storing blankets and bath linens, corralling toys and general clutter, as a spot to toss dirty laundry or, paired with a liner, as a cachepot for a houseplant. We also just love as simple, sculptural objects filling an empty corner.
