 Stripes get a fresh, new look with our JH x Tensira Porter Bolster pillow. This extra-long throw pillow was created in collaboration with Tensira — a celebrated textile house founded by a Guinean and Finnish husband-and-wife duo that blends Scandinavian aesthetics with ancestral West African weaving and dyeing techniques. We dreamed up Porter’s deceptively simple design in-house, drawing on the motifs found on timeless French parquet flooring to create an unexpectedly dimensional, blocky feel. Tensira’s team of skilled craftswomen then brought our design to life using cotton that was spun and woven by hand and traditional indigo-dyeing techniques that have been passed down for generations. Finally, we finished it off with a plush down and feather pillow insert for soft, sink-in comfort. We couldn’t be happier with the end result, which blends a blue, black and white palette with European elegance and global authenticity. Keep things simple and let Porter stand solo on the bed for the perfect finishing touch or layer it with our other JH x Tensira Pillows on a spacious sofa or sectional for an effortlessly chic feel.
