Simple and timeless in shape, this scaled-down armchair is upholstered in a one-of-a-kind striped kilim blanket, which was handwoven from sheep’s wool and dyed in neutral shades of brown by skilled Berber tribeswomen in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains. A unique combination of global and traditional style, it also offers an enveloping, comfortably upright sit thanks to its rounded, supportive back rest, firm seat cushion and two perfectly placed, low-lying armrests. Great for adding a layer of texture and character to just about any room, we love Majid as a single in a cozy reading nook or as a not-so-matching pair in a classic, collected living room.
