Handwoven and knotted in the northwestern Iranian village of Lilihan, this rug is patterned with a traditional central medallion surrounded by stylized floral sprays in a palette of navy, terracotta, salmon, camel and touches of ultramarine and cornflower blue. It is in excellent vintage condition, with slight signs of wear consistent with its age and years of use.
