An oil painting depicting an open field bordered by a dense line of trees beneath a pale sky.
Initialed lower right by Hans Eriksen. The reverse is inscribed and dated 1949, with references to Slipshavnskoven, Nyborg. An original paper label remains attached to the back, documenting the work's sale through an auction of art dealer Chr. Larsen's collection in 1957. Presented in a gilt-toned frame that complements the palette and period character of the painting.
Vintage condition with age-related wear to the painting and frame consistent with age and use. The painting shows areas of surface wear and craquelure, while the frame exhibits light wear and patina throughout.
