TinTin Hull Farm depicts a Bucks County farm nestled within a richly colored landscape. A tall pine tree dominates the foreground, its layered branches creating a strong horizontal rhythm against the upright farmhouse and dark evergreen woods beyond. Greca’s vibrant greens, yellows, and blues bring energy to the quiet rural setting, while the small pond and gently curving ground lead the eye through the composition.
Painted in water-based oil in April 2016. Signed and dated on the front; signed, dated, and titled on the reverse.
ABOUT THE ARTIST: Virgil Greca is a contemporary painter and sculptor who lives and works in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. His distinctive use of color and instinct for structure reflect his many years as an interior designer and the owner of his own furniture showroom.
