An original mid-century oil painting by British artist Ronald Copping, known for his architectural and urban landscape work across continental Europe, London, and beyond. This piece depicts a sun-washed townscape of stacked buildings and an arched arcade, rendered in heavy impasto across warm ochre and gold tones. Signed and dated 5/59 in the lower right. Set in a slim wood frame.
