Description
A piercing orange-red Mediterranean coral embedded in buttery 22k gold. This ancient technique is called “chasing” and is the process of slowly sinking the metal down from the front side.

This is a one-of-a-kind item that was handmade by Jenna Katz in her Los Angeles studio.
Jenna works out of her Los Angeles studio to create modern heirloom jewelry from recycled 18k and 22k gold and precious stones. While trained in ancient techniques, Jenna references contemporary symbols, colors, textures and patterns. She employs her training in traditional hand fabrication while incorporating 3D modeled and printed elements to create fine jewelry that is both classic and whimsical.
